The Election Commission of India has ordered removal of West Bengal Director General of Police (DGP) Rajeev Kumar ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, news agency ANI on Monday, March 18, reported quoting sources. The EC also ordered removal of home secretaries in six states namely Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
