In a troubling incident in Noida, climate activist Licypriya Kangujam reported that her mobile phone was snatched while she was shopping at a Sunday market near BLS World School on October 27. Kangujam took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her distress, stating, "My phone S23 ultra was snatched away during vegetable shopping at around 11:30 PM." She expressed frustration that when her mother attempted to lodge a complaint at Cherry County Police Chowky, there was no staff present. This marks the second time Kangujam has been targeted, having lost her phone previously without recovering it. "This time, I want justice as my phone contains lots of important data," she urged, calling for necessary action. In response, Noida police acknowledged the incident, stating that the Bisrakh police station is currently investigating the matter and is in contact with Kangujam to register the case. Theft Caught on Camera in Delhi: Masked Men Loot Mobile Phones Worth Lakhs From Shop in Vasant Kunj, Viral Video Surfaces.
