A video going viral on social media shows a leopard being spotted on the Srisailam-Hyderabad Highway in Telangana. A journalist who shared the news of X (formerly Twitter) said that the leopard was spotted on the Srisailam-Hyderabad main road near Vatavarlapalli. The incident came to light after the big cat was caught on camera by passengers travelling in a car. The viral clip shows the leopard crossing the road before slipping back into the forest. After the leopard was spotted, Rohit Goppidi, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of the Amrabad Tiger Reserve, confirmed the sighting.
