The incident came to light on Friday evening, October 18, after locals spotted the big cat in the area. The incident was confirmed by forest range officer Ramesh Kumar, who said, "Our hunch is it might be real." In the viral clip, the leopard is seen walking on rubble in Miyapur. After the incident came to light, the forest department dispatched a team to capture the big cat. "Our team has responded promptly and is working on the ground to trap it," RM Dobriyal, principal chief conservator of forests (PCCF), Telangana, said.
