According to the victim, a bike passed by, and the person sitting at the back made an inappropriate comment, "kya rate legi," without stopping. The incident occurred in a matter of seconds. The journalist shares another incident in the same area where Last Sunday, while walking towards Sector-18 Metro in broad daylight, a man approached and greeted her with a casual "hello," which she initially took as a possible fan of her journalistic work. However, the situation quickly turned distressing when he said, "Don't be shocked. Please calm down." The journalist emphasised that neither her clothing nor the time of day should be blamed. What matters is the constant fear that she and many women like her live with.
