Known for its bustling streets, Pune's Pimpari-Chinchwad was gripped with terror after the notorious Koyta Gang targeted two women in broad daylight. The incident occurred on August 7, 2023, at around 5 p.m. when three bike-borne miscreants approached the women walking on the road and threatened them with a machete. Scared for life, the women started running, during which one collapsed to the ground and fell prey to the miscreants. The masked men looted the woman and fled from the scene. The whole incident was caught on a nearby installed CCTV camera.
