In an unfortunate incident in Mumbai, a 55-year-old man who was brutally attacked with a knife and belt on the Mumbai local train died four days after the incident. The deceased, identified as Dattatray Bhoir, a farmer from Sajivali village in Shahapur taluka, was returning home after attending a Haldi ceremony on the night of April 28 when he was brutally attacked by two people. Bhoir was stabbed between Khadavli and Vasind railway stations. Police probe revealed that the accused allegedly attacked Bhoir and his friends over a misunderstanding that they were making fun of him. Meanwhile, the police arrested both the accused. The police have launched a manhunt to arrest the accuseds friends, too. A video of the brutal assault has also gone viral on social media.
