Advocate Nitin Satpute has urged the police to take action against BJP leader Kirit Somaiya for allegedly circulating a porn video reportedly recorded on his mobile device. The complaint is being filed on behalf of Satpute's client Alex Issac, who asserted that the explicit clip could not have been recorded and circulated without Somaiya's consent. This comes after Kirit Somaiya lodged a defamation complaint against Lokshahi channel's editor Kamlesh Sutar and journalist Anil Thatte, a month-and-a-half after the channel aired the controversial video. Somaiya's complaint has led to the initiation of an FIR under defamation charges and relevant sections of the Information Technology Act.
