A rescue team of the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) along with the Indian Army, and Indian Air Force teams successfully rescued three personnel stranded at Soojipara waterfalls in Kerala's Wayanad. Officials of the Indian Coast Guard said that its search team spotted three people stranded near the waterfall during their morning combing operation along river banks from Mundakai to Soojipara. After spotting the people stranded near the waterfall, the ICG search team brought the situation to the notice of the control centre at Mepadi. Post this, a strenuous Land and Air coordinated efforts by the forces were conducted which helped to rescue the three people stranded near the waterfall.
