The Kerala High Court recently rejected a man's plea to quash criminal proceedings against him after he was booked for posting a video on YouTube and Facebook alleging that Christian nuns were being made to serve as "concubines" of priests and bishops. The high court bench of Justice A Badharudeen said that there was sufficient material against the accused to indicate that the alleged offences against the petitioner, PV Samuel, were prima facie made out.
