On Saturday, Karnataka Congress MLA Basavaraj Rayareddy said that ‘atleast six more deputy chief ministers’ should be appointed in the state. He claimed that discussions have already begun in the southern state regarding the creation of a few more Deputy CMs in the interest of the ensuing parliament elections. He claimed that the move has also been supported by many senior ministers, including Dr Parameshwar, MB Patil and others. I do agree with Rajanna's proposal that more Dy CMs are required for better administration. I am suggesting at least there should be six Dy CMs. Already in Andhra Pradesh, there are five deputy CMs. Karnataka is a big state, they can create another five. That means including present Dy CM DK Shivakumar it will be six, he added. Congress-Led Karnataka Government To Exclude Lessons on RSS Founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar From School Syllabus.
