In a shocking incident in Kanpur's Gwaltoli, 70-year-old cleric Maulana Ahmed was arrested after being caught red-handed while trying to rape a minor girl. Ahmed lured the victim to his home under the pretext of giving her a chocolate. A witness recorded the assault and alerted nearby residents, who intervened promptly to rescue the victim. Ahmed was apprehended in an inappropriate state and handed over to the police. The woman is unharmed, and a medical examination is being conducted.
