The Himachal Pradesh police recently arrested a 35-year-old woman named Nisha Devi for allegedly vandalising a Shivling in Nagrota of Kangra district. The alleged incident is said to have taken place on September 26. On Friday, September 27, the Kangra police registered an FIR after the Shivling was vandalised at a temple in Nagrota. A journalist who shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) said that in the past, Nisha had also broken the Shivlings of two different temples.
