Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, May 31, reacted to the news of the Indian economy clocking a robust GDP growth of 7.8 per cent in the January-March quarter and 8.2 per cent growth rate in the financial year 2023-24. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), PM Narendra Modi said the Indian economy is poised to accelerate further. "Thanks to the hardworking people of our country, 8.2% growth for the year 2023-24 exemplifies that India continues to be the fastest growing major economy globally," PM Modi's tweet read.
