A heated argument erupted between Jitendra Awhad, a leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), and Yunus Shaikh, the party's Minority Vice President, over the election manifesto book in Thane's Mumbra on October 27. Shaikh expressed his dissatisfaction not with NCP chief Sharad Pawar but with the party's Minority President, Shameem Khan, asserting that their dispute is far from over. "Jitendra Awhad has promised a new manifesto will be released, but my issues with Shameem Khan will continue," he stated. Despite their clashes, reportedly four times now, Shaikh emphasized his respect for Awhad’s contributions to the community. He noted, "I always back off thinking about his good work for my community and the development of Mumbra." Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: NCP (SP) Releases First List of 45 Candidates, Fields Yugendra Pawar Against Uncle Ajit Pawar From Baramati; Full List Here.
