On Monday, September 18, security officials in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir apprehended three Over-Ground-Workers (OGWs) linked to the Hizbul Mujahideen militant organisation. Reportedly, the individuals, identified as Touseef Ul Nabi, Zahoor Ul Hassan, and Reyaz Ahmed, were detained under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act, 1978. These OGWs had reportedly been under surveillance for their alleged involvement in providing resources to Hizbul Mujahideen militants in the region. The arrest comes as part of ongoing efforts to counter support networks for militant groups in Jammu and Kashmir.
