A bus carrying Vaishno Devi pilgrims caught fire near Katra in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, October 4. News agency ANI shared a video that showed the bus gutted after a fire in Jammu and Kashmir. All passengers are safe and a probe has been launched, ANI said. "A bus which was going from Katra to Jammu caught fire due to some technical issue. There has been no loss of life in the incident. Prima facie it seems a technical issue, maybe a short circuit. The police are investigating it," Katra SDM Piyush Dhotra said.
