In an unfortunate incident that took place in Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian Army Colonel who was commanding a Rashtriya Rifles Unit along with a Major lost their lives in a terrorist encounter in Anantnag. The colonel and the major reportedly lost their lives during an encounter with terrorists in Anantnag, Kashmir. "The officer was commanding 19 RR," Indian Army officials said. Besides the colonel and major, Jammu and Kashmir police official also lost his life in the encounter.
