In a distressing incident, an elderly farmer was swindled out of a significant sum of money by a youth at the Punjab National Bank branch in Maharashtra's Jalgaon. A video of the incident has surfaced on social media. The farmer, who had just withdrawn INR 50,000, counted his cash when the youth approached him. Seeing the farmer’s difficulty with numbers, the young man offered to help, saying, “Baba, give me, I will count.” Trusting the seemingly kind stranger, the farmer handed over his money. Unbeknownst to him, the young man had ulterior motives. With deft hands, the young man pocketed INR 10,500 and quickly left the bank.
