In a shocking incident in Bihar's Buxar, students allegedly beat a government school teacher after they did not receive sweets on Independence Day. It is reported that students questioned the teacher when they did not get jalebi and kachori during Independence Day celebrations. Soon, the dispute escalated to the point where the students chased the teacher and beat him up. It is alleged that the students were so upset that they surrounded the teacher on his way home and beat him. After being alerted about the ruckus, the police reached the spot and summoned the school's principal and teachers.
