Italian DJ Olly Esse took to social media X to share her ordeal about facing water crisis at her Mumbai house. Tagging Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on X, she said that she is not getting water supply at her house since two weeks. She described the situation as “horrible.” “After two weeks, we STILL don’t have water in the house,” she said. “I see water on the streets from the pipes that are damaged, but not in our houses,” Olly added. The water crisis in Mumbai has been ongoing, with the BMC announcing an 8-hour water supply cut in Colaba, Koliwada, and Naval areas. Furthermore, certain areas in Mumbai were expected to face a water crisis on May 11. The city has been grappling with water issues for some time now. In March 2024, it was reported that the water level in seven lakes supplying water to Mumbai had dipped to a three-year low of 37.9%.
