During the event, CJI DY Chandrachud interacted with the "AI lawyer". A video shared by news agency ANI shows CJI DY Chandrachud asking the AI lawyer, "Is the death penalty constitutional in India?" To which the AI lawyer says, "Yes, the death penalty is constitutional in India. The AI lawyer further says that the death penalty is reserved for the rarest of rare cases, as determined by the Supreme Court.
