Iraq's military on Monday announced a nationwide curfew to quell rising tensions and the possibility of clashes after the followers of Shiite cleric Muqtada Al-Sadr stormed the Republican Palace in Baghdad. "According to medics, two protesters were killed in clashes in Baghdad's Green Zone," reported AFP News Agency.
