A Delhi police busted a major drug racket and seized a drug named "Neela" whose grey market value is reportedly said to be around INR 5 crore. According to a journalist on X, Delhi Police Special Cell ACP Sanjay Dutt's team busted the inter-state drug syndicate that was actively working in Delhi-NCR and North-East. Officials said that addictive drugs such as Tramadol (1,58,544 capsules) called "Neela" weighing around 131kg, Alprazolam (1,560 tablets) weighing 300 grams and Codeine syrup (692 bottles of 100 ml each) worth INR 5 crore were recovered. The police also arrested three drug peddlers who were identified as Mohd Anas and Niveshak Kumar from North-East Delhi and chemist Lavkesh Sindhi from Laxmi Nagar in Delhi.
