In response to the recent railway accidents across the country, Indian Railways has launched Rail Rakshak Dal teams to improve accident response and rescue efforts. These teams, equipped to swiftly reach accident sites, have been introduced as part of a pilot project in the North Western Railway (NWR) zone in Rajasthan. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is set to review the initiative in Jaipur personally. Jyoti Kumar Satija, IG of RPF, NWR, expressed pride in the project, emphasizing its goal of ensuring prompt rescue operations in case of accidents. The Rail Rakshak Dal consists of four units, including five RPF teams and one mechanical team.
