India’s ranking has fallen from 133 in 2016 to 150 in 2021, of 180 countries, according to Reporters sans frontières (RSF), which has published its 2022 World Press Freedom Index, on May 3, Tuesday. The lack of press freedom in the Middle East countries has also continued to impact the conflict between Israel which is at 86th and Palestine at 170th.
