One of India's oldest locomotives, made in England in 1855, took trial on Sunday ahead of independence day celebrations. The Express EIR 21 locomotive was originally shipped to India from England in 1855. The Railways to hold a heritage run of a 167-year-old locomotive on Monday commemorating the 75th Independence Day celebrations.
