One of the five Indian Air Force soldiers injured in the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch has passed away in hospital during treatment on Saturday, May 4, 2024. According to Security Force officials, another personnel is critical and undergoing treatment, while the remaining three are stable. The attack took place near Shahsitar region when the militants opened fire on the vehicles of IAF convoy. Security has been beefed up in the region and a search operation is currently underway.
