A dating scam has emerged in Telangana's Hyderabad, where women would take their dates to a posh restaurant or club and later escape after making the men pay hefty bills. The scam came to light after a user on X shared screenshots of men who had been duped by the gang, including women and the club. Explaining further, the X user said that the club, Mosh Pub in Madhapur, where the men were allegedly trapped by the women, ran with different names. The X user also said that the women trapped the men and later duped them after meeting them on dating apps such as Tinder and Bumble. Sharing more details, the X user said that the scam was busted recently, and the police arrested seven people who ran the alleged scam. The user also said the scamsters made Rs 30 lakh by trapping and duping 50-60 men.
