In a horrifying accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi, a 70-year-old man was run over by a Toyota Fortuner SUV car while the driver was reversing the vehicle on a narrow street. The bone-chilling event occurred in the Sipri Bazaar area, where parked cars lined both sides of the street. The CCTV footage captured the entire episode, showing the man, identified as Rajendra Gupta, being struck and falling under the SUV. Unaware of Gupta's presence, the driver continued to reverse the vehicle for several meters, dragging the injured man for several feet. Nearby residents rushed to the scene upon hearing Gupta's screams. Realising something was wrong, the driver moved the car forward, further dragging the elderly man. The massive SUV, weighing over 2.5 tons, exerted immense pressure on Gupta, resulting in severe injuries. Bystanders managed to pull him from under the car, and the driver transported him to a nearby hospital.
