Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, on Monday, September 25, announced that all hookah bars in the state will be shut. DIPR Haryana confirmed the development. The Manohar Lal Khattar government also said that one bicycle will be provided by the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) department upon the registry of every house. The ban on hookah bars comes a few days after the Siddaramaiah government said it would ban hookah bars and tobacco products for people below 21 years of age.
