The son accused his elder brothers and mother of killing their father, Budh Singh, in 1994. According to reports, the eldest brother, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, confessed to the younger sibling about the murder, prompting him to alert the authorities. Following the revelation, police excavated a section of the house and discovered the remains buried in the courtyard. The body, which was believed to have been buried in secrecy for nearly three decades, has now been sent for DNA testing to confirm its identity.
