A video of a Haryana Policewoman refusing to pay an INR 50 fare on a Rajasthan Roadways bus has sparked an unusual tit-for-tat between the two states. A video, which surfaced on social media on October 28, shows the constable asserting her status as a police officer, claiming that she is not required to pay fares within her own state. However, the bus conductor countered that since the bus was from Rajasthan, she would indeed need to buy a ticket. After a heated exchange, the constable ultimately paid the fare. In response to the incident, the Haryana Police have reportedly issued challans to over 50 Rajasthan buses, citing the enforcement of local regulations. Not to be outdone, the Rajasthan Police retaliated by issuing challans to 26 buses from Haryana, escalating the situation between the two states. Haryana: 3-Time MLA Harvinder Kalyan Elected As Speaker of Vidhan Sabha (See Pics and Video).
