The accusation gained traction when a video surfaced on X, posted by user @drdoom0303, showing the victim in distress, revealing injuries sustained from the alleged assault. In a 44-second clip, the student detailed that Dr. Kaushik had been inflicting physical and mental torture for seven months after she rejected his advances. The video included a screenshot of a chat recounting a 12-hour ordeal of abuse from August 16 to August 17. Dr Kaushik was arrested following the post, and the Resident Doctors Association expelled him within 12 hours of the video’s release. The case is currently under investigation, with the student demanding justice.
