Hapur: Police Station Clerk Demands 1Kg Jalebi in Bribe to Process Mobile Theft Complaint in Bahadurgarh, Suspended (Watch Videos)

A bizarre incident has emerged from the Bahadurgarh police station, where a constable, known for his fondness for sweets, allegedly demanded jalebi from a complainant. The incident that came to light on August 26, occurred when a young man visited the station to report a missing mobile phone. According to reports, the constable, identified as the station's clerk, asked the complainant for 1 kilogram of jalebi in exchange for processing his complaint. The unusual demand came in the form of a request to seal the complaint with an official stamp, which the clerk purportedly conditioned on receiving the sweet treat. The Home Guard in question has been suspended with immediate effect by the Home Guard Commandant.
