Instead, the driver accelerated, hitting Singh and dragging him.The constable clung to the bonnet until the driver made a sharp turn at Harishankar Puram, causing Singh to fall and lose consciousness. His colleagues rushed him to a hospital, where he regained consciousness shortly after. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
