On Sunday, September 15, night, a tragic accident claimed the life of Akshat Garg, a 23-year-old motorcyclist. Garg was riding his high-speed motorcycle when he collided with an SUV travelling on the wrong side of the road on Gold Course road. The SUV, a Mahindra 3XO with a BJP sticker, was driven by Kuldeep Thakur, who was arrested but later released on bail. Eyewitnesses, including the victim's friend Pradyuman, reported that the SUV was speeding in a fast lane on the wrong side when the crash occurred. The incident underscores the severe consequences of reckless driving and the urgent need for improved road safety measures. After the incident, Gurugram police said that an FIR was registered under relevant sections of BNS, and the accused was arrested.
