In Gonda’s Motiganj area, a mentally unstable man, Tabarak Ali, was brutally beaten by over a dozen people who mistook him for a child thief. The incident occurred in Pachpedwa Chauri Harshopatti village, where locals attacked Ali with sticks in the presence of police, who were unable to stop the assault. Shockingly, the accused filmed the beating and circulated the video on social media. After the video went viral, police registered a case against four named and 12 unidentified individuals.
