In a shocking incident, a girl climbed the terrace of a four-storey residential building in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on Thursday. She was rescued after the timely intervention of the police. The girl was allegedly fed up with her father's behaviour towards her and decided to take this extreme step at her residence in the Indirapuram area under Abhay Khand police station limits. Reportedly, her father scolded her that day, following which she climbed the roof of the building. As she stood on the edge of the terrace, sparking fears of a possible suicide bid, a huge crowd gathered in the area, and police were alerted subsequently. Soon, the cops arrived at the spot and tried to convince her to get down. After much effort, the police were successful in rescuing the girl.
