Ghaziabad Police Brutality Video: Constable Suspended After Clip of Him Thrashing Man Mercilessly On Road Surfaces Online

A video of a Ghaziabad police constable mercilessly thrashing a man on the road surfaced online. However, he was suspended after the video went viral. The accused has been identified as Rinku Rajaura, who is posted at Madhuban Bapudham police station in Ghaziabad district. The purported clip showed him in uniform beating a person mercilessly on the road. In the video, the cop can be seen punching, slapping, and kicking the man lying on the road. He also kicked the man on his head, the video showed. Afterwards, the police constable was booked under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
