Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Saturday, October 21, took to social media to congratulate the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful launch of the Gaganyaan Mission TV-D1 test flight. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, PM Narendra Modi said, "This launch takes us one step closer to realising India's first human space flight program, Gaganyaan." He also extended his best wishes to the scientists at ISRO. Earlier, the country's first rocket part of its human space mission, Gaganyaan- Test Vehicle-D1 (TV-D1), lifted off successfully at 10 am after a few delays.
