Four Indian students drowned in a river in Russia's St. Petersburg, the India's mission said. The Indian Embassy said that one student was rescued. According to the TV9 Marathi report, out of four, three students belonged to the Jalgaon district in Maharashtra. A female Indian student who waded out from the beach on the river Volkhov got into trouble, and four of her friends tried to save her, Russian media reported. In their attempt to save her, three others also drowned in the river.
