The Food Safety Department in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, has uncovered a major adulteration racket, seizing a significant quantity of "fake milk" on July 17. The milk was found to be manufactured using a hazardous mix of whey protein powder, refined oil, and glucose. According to reports, adulterated milk was being distributed to Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Gurugram. The department successfully destroyed 1,400 litres of fake milk after catching a tanker. A video of the incident also surfaced online.
