A wild elephant killed a forest department staff in the Palasgaon jungle under the Armori forest range in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district on Saturday evening, September 16. The victim, Sudhakar Atram, was assisting the forest department in moving the herd away from the village to ensure the safety and vigilance of the villagers. While the team was chasing away the elephant herd, Mr Atram parked his vehicle by the roadside and started recording a video. Upon seeing him, the elephant started running towards Atram.
