Earthquake Tremors in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Other Parts of North India After Quake Hits Nepal

An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 on the Richter Scale jolted Nepal today, October 22. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) confirmed the news and said the earthquake occurred at 07:24 am (IST) on Sunday at a depth of 10 kilometers. While the quake struck Nepal, powerful tremors were also felt in Delhi-NCR and several parts of India. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, several people said that earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Haryana.
