In a tragic incident, a youth died after being struck by a speeding car while bursting firecrackers on the road in the Rawet area in Pune's Pimpari-Chinchwad. The accident, which occurred around 9 pm in front of Felicity Society, was captured on CCTV video. Residents of Felicity Society were celebrating by bursting firecrackers on the street when the incident took place. The deceased, Soham Patel, who was among the residents, was hit by the speeding vehicle and died on the spot. The Rawet police have yet to trace the driver of the car, leading to growing frustration and anger among Soham Patel’s relatives.
