Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav secured victory from Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri seat, showed the data on EC website. Dimple Yadav, wife of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav was contesting against BJP's Jaiveer Singh, who managed to secure 3,76,887 votes.

Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav secured victory from Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri seat, confirmed the data on EC website. Dimple Yadav, wife of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, won by a margin of 2,21,639 votes. She was contesting against BJP's Jaiveer Singh, who garnered 3,76,887 votes. Additionally, BSP contender Shiv Prasad Yadav managed to secure 66,814 votes in the general elections. Dimple Yadav contested the Lok Sabha Elections from the Kannauj constituency but was defeated by BJP's Subrat Pathak in 2019. She rose to prominence after winning the Mainpuri by-elections in 2022.
