Delhi's SRIRAM's IAS recently faced flak for issuing a statement amid the untimely deaths of civil aspirants in the national capital. Issuing a statement after the death of three civil service aspirants due to flooding at RAU IAS Coaching Institute in Old Rajendra Nagar, SRIRAM's IAS, a coaching institute for UPSC civil services aspirants, had said, "It's time for soul searching on the part of everyone. Remember, you should not be a part of the HERD so that you are heard," their statement read. After facing flak over the "Herd" comment, the coaching institute deleted their post on X (formerly Twitter) and issued a clarification. In its new statement, SRIRAM's IAS said its previous statement was entirely misunderstood. They further said that their intention was to express that students are on a historic path. Delhi Civil Aspirant Deaths: MCD Seals 7 Properties, 3 Basements for Violating Building Bye-Laws in Karol Bagh.
