Several areas in Delhi are facing water supply disruptions on Sunday due to maintenance work, according to an official statement from the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC). The shutdown of the Sonia Vihar Water Works has impacted water availability in multiple localities, including Jor Bagh, Lodhi Colony, B K Dutt Colony, Khan Market, and surrounding neighborhoods. Affected residents are advised to use water judiciously during this period. NDMC has arranged for water tankers upon request, which can be accessed by contacting the NDMC Water Supply Control Room at Kali Bari Marg. The disruptions follow similar cuts on Saturday, caused by interconnection work on a new 800 mm loop line near Rajouri Garden Metro Station. Areas such as Inder Puri, Maya Puri, and Naraina Village experienced reduced water supply. Authorities have urged residents to prepare for possible intermittent shortages.
