Amid the ongoing water crisis in Delhi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers today, June 22, led a protest over the water crisis in the national capital. One video shared by the news agency PTI showed BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri leading a protest at the Jal Board filling pump in Okhla. However, as BJP workers took to the streets to protest over the water crisis in the national capital, the Delhi police were seen using water cannons on protesters. This did not go well with netizens, who quickly pointed out why the BJP workers protested. "Use a water cannon to muzzle a protest against water crisis," one user said, while another user wrote, "Delhi police is using Water Canon on people who are protesting against the Shortage supply of Water in Delhi."
